Juniors and teenagers courses
The courses start from 6 years old and above. Our experienced teachers in young learners methodologies, adopt the right techniques and materials with a recreational and playful approach. The courses last 9 months from October to June.
Courses for teachers
The English Centre is the only institution in Italy that is a partner of the LTTC College in London (London Teacher Training College). We organize courses for the preparation and training of teachers for the achievement of international certifications TESOL and TEFL for the qualification to teach English to foreigners. The course includes study materials, classroom lessons with one of our qualified teachers and the final certification issued by the LTTC. The LTTC is a world-renowned, accredited training center specializing in the study of English as a foreign language. Founded in 1984, its headquarters are in London. Courses can be taken in the classroom in one of over 50 affiliated schools.
Courses for teens and adults
The courses consist of no more than 8 participants, have a duration of 9 months (October - June) and are divided by age and level of knowledge of the language, which is verified at the time of enrollment with a free written and oral test. For those who cannot attend a long-term course, the English Centre offers intensive courses lasting 4 months and conversation courses based on conversation with audio-visual support. All courses are held twice a week (2 or 3 hours) or once a week for 2 hours (single lesson) from Monday to Friday during the lunch break or in the afternoon and evening.
"One on one" courses
Set from 20 to 60 hours of lessons. Meetings are planned between teacher and student, always assuring a wide flexibility of days and time (from Monday to Saturday morning). The individual courses are tailored to student’s needs. The methods and the study programs are in fact conceived only according to the objectives to reach, in order to optimize time and resources.
Courses for professionals
Business courses for executives: International law, Financial industry, Medical English, Tourism and interview preparation. Courses are constantly monitored to assess progress and language learning. All participants in business courses can also attend one of our group courses free of charge and have free access to all our supplementary study services: English Library - Listening Centre - English Videoclub - English in CD-ROM - Self Study material. In our center it is possible to prepare for the Cambridge International Certificate in Legal English, ILEC.
In-Company Courses of Business and Legal English
Individual, mini-group or group courses take place in our centre or in company. Students, even if beginners, through the communicative approach, contribute with their personal experiences and opinions, using the foreign language immediately. The language is learned simulating everyday situations: meetings, video-conferences, telephone calls, invoicing, presentations, e-mails, business lunch and dinner. Notions of management, marketing and business administration are also scheduled in the program.
Online courses
Courses on Skype, Zoom and Google Meet platforms with our teachers for those who cannot attend traditional classroom lessons. Online training courses with personal password, teacher monitoring, grammar support and online dictionary.
Special user courses
Courses for the visually impaired, blind and hearing impaired. Teachers specialized in teaching with specific methods such as sign language (L.I.S.) or lip reading.
